​To our Valued Patients,
After much deliberation and discussion, our office unfortunately had some tough decisions to make regarding our office insurance policy for 2025. The following insurance message applies to all our patients EFFECTIVE AUGUST 19, 2025. Any previous pricing, estimates, and arrangements will be reset starting as well.
The ONLY insurance companies we will be contracted and in-network with are the following:

UNITED CONCORDIA MEDICARE (FREEDOM BLUE, SECURITY BLUE, COMMUNITY BLUE, COMPLETE BLUE)
UPMC Dental Advantage
UPMC for Life (Medicare)

If your insurance is not one of the above companies, you are more than welcome to stay as a loyal patient at our office. As a courtesy to you, we will still submit pre-authorizations and claims to your insurance company on your behalf so you can use your benefits. At the time of your visit, if your insurance is not listed above, you will pay our full fee for your procedure, and your insurance company will reimburse you at their rate with a check 2-3 weeks after your visit.​

This was not an easy decision to make. However, after much back and forth with the insurance companies, they still refuse to increase their reimbursement fees (despite rapidly increasing operating costs), still refuse to approve blatantly and obviously needed non-elective treatment, and still refuse to reliably reimburse on completed treatment. We only provide the best possible care for all of our patients, and we refuse to let the insurance companies attempt to dictate the quality of your care by forcing us to take shortcuts or use cheaper materials and labwork in your mouth.
We hope you understand and will still be a part of our office moving forward. Should you choose to seek care at another office, we will transfer any records/x-rays for you at no charge. Thank you as always for being a valued patient!
